Aly has been involved in health and wellness for over 36 years, where her last 16 years have been devoted to teaching Yoga. Aly is both a Yoga facilitator, registered with Yoga Alliance® at E-RYT®500 and a registered Yoga Therapist. Whilst living for many years in New Zealand, Aly garnered her inspiration from many seasoned teachers such as, Katie Lane, Noah Mazé, Desireé Rumbaugh, Donna Farhi and Anita Sundaram. As her own practice evolved, this resonated with a deep dharma (purpose) to offer education and informed support through the traditions of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga practices. Her teachings crossed many Yoga studios and health centres within New Zealand, this presented opportunities to be able to work with a diverse cross section of abilities, age and beliefs. The intention is to continue to draw more awareness to Yoga and its rich legacies, and to continue to assist in helping students cultivate their own practice that thus enriches their own calling and purpose. Inspired by a sense of belonging and creativity, Aly decided to return to her ancestral home in England, where she is creating communities that brings to life the healing nature of Yoga, where everyone belongs. Her teaching style integrates real-life experiences, the science and philosophy of Yoga; enhancing a spiritual, mental and physical context for your body and mind. Aly leads a multitude of soul-based workshops, on line teachings, courses and private classes. Always a student herself, Aly studies anatomy for the Yoga body, further Yoga philosophies and Yin Yoga practices. On a more personal level, her love of her two sons, Noah and Leo, is ever present and, whilst she is always curious to be more creative, her passion of writing and poetry led her to create two of her own books. From as early as aged nine, her love and connection to horses still remains deep, as she believes when fully connected to what we love deeply, then that is the meaning of an amazing and beautiful life. |

Testimonials
Aly has been a teacher, a mentor, and an inspiration to me since I started regularly attending her yoga classes. With her strong fitness and anatomical background, and her gentle, warm, compassionate nature, Aly manages to blend the two sides together into some of the most flowing, rewarding and rejuvenating classes I have ever experienced.
Since being a student of Aly, my state of mind, and health has transformed on so many levels enabling me to feel more grounded, balanced, and at ease with life. On a physical level, Aly has helped me move from a more gentle style of yoga, to build more strength and stamina through her more dynamic vinyasa sequences. She guides you to explore your boundaries, and expand your practice, whilst always listening to your body.
As a yoga teacher myself, Aly has taught me so much, especially about vinyasa, and has been a constant form of support and love, always encouraging me to grow. Thank you so much Aly. Simone Andersen - Certified Yoga Teacher (Dip. Yoga) - Australia and New Zealand
Aly's knowledge and tutelage are excellent and she has the ability to make classes accessible to all levels giving you the option to challenge yourself or take a more gentle practice. I find her ‘flow’ method logical and therefore, once you have attended a couple of her classes, it is easy to just ‘go with the flow’ – not get left behind or wonder why you can’t keep up. Aly has a lovely gentle manner which creates a really pleasant class environment and I would highly recommend her classes and or teachings for yoga enthusiasts of all levels. Gerry - New Zealand
My practice has expanded in so many ways since I began my Yoga journey with Aly a few years ago. I come to the mat open minded, open hearted and ready to absorb her wonderful knowledge, energy and authenticity. I have always enjoyed what Yoga does for me physically, but with Aly I have learnt more about its benefits for heart, mind and spirit too. During the lockdowns her classes migrated online and her connection to her students, despite not being in person, was a lifeline. Thank you Aly. Clare A - United Kingdom
Thank you so much for sharing Yin Yoga sequences and affirmations, it’s wonderful. I am so looking forward to continuing my Yoga journey with your guidance. You are such a kind and brilliant teacher and I am very grateful for the care you take to create a welcoming and nurturing space for us to practice. I absolutely love your classes as you can probably tell - on my mat in your class is the only time in the week I feel fully in the moment, so thank you.
